Birthday driver begs mother to pick him up after speeding Ferrari gets towed

  • A motorist in Canada had his Ferrari impounded after being stopped for allegedly driving at 130 km/h in a 70 km/h zone.
  • The incident, which occurred in October 2024, saw the driver initially deny speeding before pleading with the officer, citing it was his birthday.
  • York Regional Police footage, shared on 5 August, shows the officer issuing a stunt driving offence, leading to the vehicle's towing.
  • After his car was towed, the driver was heard telephoning his mother to ask for a lift home.
