Birthday boy's shock at 'disaster of dessert' he bought for £6 at Pizza Hut

A birthday boy has told of his "shock" at the "absolute disaster of a dessert" he bought for £5.99 from Pizza Hut.

Bradley Moon thought he would treat himself to a hot salted caramel cookie dough and ordered it for collection from one of the chain's restaurants in Bristol.

But when he got home and opened the box he was flabbergasted to see it was no bigger than the size of his palm.

Now the 22-year-old has vowed never to return to the food chain again, reports Bristol Live.

Recalling what happened, a disappointed Bradley said: "It was my birthday on Sunday so I thought I'd treat myself.

"I just really fancied some cookie dough that day.

"We ordered the biscuit and collected it from the Pizza Hut in Imperial Park.

"When we got home and opened the box, my girlfriend and I just looked at each other and said 'what on earth is that?'

"The biscuit was just the smallest square - we were both so shocked."

Feeling underwhelmed with his birthday treat, Bradley immediately rang Pizza Hut who said the biscuit "comes pre-portioned".

"It was about a centimetre thin and roughly 4 inches by 4 inches - about the size of my palm," Bradley added.

"It came with a small pot of ice cream but you would expect that.

"It tasted nice but it took about 20 seconds to eat. It would have been nicer if it was a bit bigger."

The unhappy customer added that he won't be returning to Pizza Hut.

"I would go somewhere else in the future," he said. "If I want cookie dough, there's places I can go for better value so I wouldn't go back."

Pizza Hut has been contacted for comment.
