The Birnam Highland Games have been cancelled due to the coronavirus.
The event was due to take place on Saturday, August 29, but the lockdown restrictions have led to the committee taking the decision to scrap the event for the year.
Games chairman Duncan Sim said: “It is with regret that I have to announce the cancellation of this year’s games due to the COVID-19 virus.
“The committee and I fully intend to be back next year and look forward to seeing our friends old and new in 2021 on the last Saturday in August, so please put the date in your diary.”
