Birmingham residents think they've got a Banksy

A stencil of a pig trapped in a shopping trolley with the words 'all natural' painted on a wall in Birmingham has sparked a frenzy among street art enthusiasts.

That's because many believe it's the work of Bristol's elusive graffiti artist Banksy,

The city's Custard Factory tweeted: "Banksy on Gibb Street?! #Banksy "

Our sister paper Birmingham Live then posted a story about the chances of the world-renowned artist making a return to their city.

However, here at Bristol Live we are a little sceptical about the discovery.

Nothing has appeared on Banksy's website and the mural itself doesn't look completely authentic.

Last year, artwork on a wall on Birmingham's Windsor Street sparked similar speculation.

But the artist behind the design eventually unmasked himself as Itchers.

And a distinctive image of a little girl holding a balloon with the word 'Tame' written on it was found in Floodgate Street, Digbeth.
