Fans are alleged to have punched and kicked stewards as they attempted to find the fan that made his way onto the pitch during the game.

West Yorkshire Police say that there has so far been no reports of any arrests from the game.

Leeds triumphed on home soil thanks to a strike from Kalvin Phillips on the 65th minute, finally breaking down the Blues' strong defensive resistance.

Marcelo Bielsa's side had chances in the first half but couldn't find the finish before Phillips' winner.

The midfielder latched onto Jack Harrison's through ball before slotting past Lee Camp in the Birmingham goal.

Birmingham had chances for their own, but found Kiko Casilla difficult to beat.

Leeds' victory means they sit second in the Championship, two points behind league leaders West Brom. Birmingham are in 12th.
