Birmingham digital agency OWB on the move as it marks 20th anniversary

A digital marketing and creative agency has moved across Birmingham city centre to a new home as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.

OWB has relocated from its Digbeth base after 12 years to new offices at Grosvenor House, in St Paul's Square, Jewellery Quarter.

Managing director Andy Wilkinson, who co-founded the company with operations director Shari Bryan in 2000, said: "We always coveted St Paul's Square and the work-from-home edict provided the perfect opportunity to look around.

"It provided a once-in-a-business lifetime to move without disruption as everyone was home based and also gave us the opportunity to look at office space we had previously discounted.

"Plus, being a birthday year we wanted something exciting for the team to come back to, with a new space, easier travel access, new bars and restaurants.

"We feel strongly that business needs roots. We are a Birmingham business, we were built here, we are from here and this city makes us proud.

"Business can be agile, we are hearing great stories of adaptation over this year but our feeling is you still need a creative hub that provides flexibility."

Since launching two decades ago, OWB has grown to an 11-strong team and has worked with clients from a broad range of sectors including Lloyds Bank, Rybrook Group, Cure Leukaemia, KPMG and British Motor Museum in Warwick.

It also recently completed visual branding for the new Jojo Lounge Bar and Restaurant in the city centre.

It has also won various awards including being named creative agency of the year twice at the Birmingham Post Business Awards.

Mr Wilkinson added: "Hitting our birthday milestone is an extremely special occasion and something that we've all worked hard to achieve.

"Our aim at the start of our business journey was to be seen as a down-to-earth, get things done creative agency and we've achieved just that.

"We look forward to working with our loyal clients, customers and partners as we enter the next exciting phase in our story and welcoming them into our new home, albeit we may have to have a cracking 21st now."
