Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet has sensationally handed in a transfer request in a bid to force through a move to Birmingham City.
Lanarkshire Live Sport revealed this morning the deal wasn't over yet, with Birmingham keeping their bid of around £3m on the table for the striker until this afternoon.
The 23-year-old trained with the Hibees this morning and gaffer Jack Ross said he expected Nisbet to be in his squad after the midnight deadline.
However, the former Dunfermline star has now handed in a transfer request in a bid to seal a move - which would see him quadruple his wages - with Hibs trying to hold out for a fee in the region of £3.5m.
There will not be another offer from Birmingham City and Hibs now face a major decision in the coming hours.
