Birmingham City fans send Steve Cooper transfer demand as Nottingham Forest loanee scores again

Birmingham City fans are raving about Lyle Taylor and want him signed permanently as he continued his fine run of form whilst on-loan away from Nottingham Forest.

The 32-year-old was one of a handful of January departures from Nottingham Forest as Steve Cooper sent him to Birmingham City in a bid to increase his playing time.

Taylor had scored three goals for Forest in the Championship before the loan move; now, in nine league fixtures, he has scored four goals for the Blues.

His fine form in-front of goal has seen him very quickly become a popular figure at St Andrew's. Having scored on his debut against Derby County, Taylor had a brief stint away from the first-team due to injury but returned to Lee Bowyer's side with a winning goal against West Brom.

This is what some Blues fans had to say about Taylor's performance...
