A hotel in Birmingham city centre has been sold.
Atlas Hotels has acquired the freehold of the 109-bedroom Hampton by Hilton, in Constitution Hill, for an undisclosed sum from Birmingham Regeneration LP.
It will continue to operate under the Hampton by Hilton brand post sale.
The Jewellery Quarter hotel, which also has a bar, fitness centre and meeting facilities, was previously a textile factory before being converted in 2013.
Property consultancy JLL advised Birmingham Regeneration LP on the sale.
Senior director of hotels and hospitality Gavin Wright said: "The completion of the sale follows a competitive marketing process with multiple offers received.
"This is a strategic acquisition by Atlas Hotels which has a strong appetite to grow its existing portfolio.
"The forthcoming Commonwealth Games in 2022 and an expected global audience of over 1.5 billion will be instrumental in promoting the city and ensuring continued demand for hotel accommodation."
Law firms DLA Piper and Burges Salmon also acted on the deal.
