The Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards 2020 have been postponed.
The annual event, which is run by our sister website BirminghamLive, was due to take place on July 2 at Edgbaston Stadium.
But the difficult decision has been taken to postpone the event as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, with a new date of Friday November 27 at the same venue.
The awards will celebrate individual excellence in six different business sectors alongside recognition for companies of all sizes and training providers (scroll down for the full list of categories).
Entries will now remain open until Friday July 3 - you can go straight to the nomination form here
This year's event is run in partnership with Ladder for Greater Birmingham, a campaign which is working to create hundreds of new apprenticeships across the region.
BirminghamLive editor Anna Jeys said: “This has not been an easy decision to take but we felt that, in the current climate, it was most definitely the correct one.
“We have already received dozens of excellent nominations to the awards after they launched in February and we hope that this extended entry period will enable and encourage more people to submit their forms.
“The awards in November will be a wonderful celebration of the city region’s apprenticeship movement and community and a fitting and upbeat end to what has already been an exceptionally challenging year.”
