Vegetarians and vegans, rejoice. Birds Eye has launched a new range of meat-free meals which are available in Tesco supermarkets now.
The brand's 'Green Cuisine Mixes' mean you can wave goodbye to cooking up vegetarian dishes from scratch, as these meals will help you create delicious meat-free versions of dinnertime classics in only 8-10 minutes.
Included are the Bolognese Mix, Mexican-style ‘Fajita’ Mix and Chilli Mix, which all contain a meat substitute that is packed with pea protein, low in saturated fat and a good source of fibre.
Each 350g mix kit is priced at £3 but prices can vary from store to store.
Whether you're trying to reduce your meat intake, or already follow a strict meat-free diet, the new mixes can be cooked straight from the freezer and served with your favourite side dish.

Anne-Marie Gayer, Senior Brand Manager at Birds Eye, said: "We know more people are becoming conscious of their meat intake, but don’t know where to start when it comes to making meat-free meals that their family will enjoy.
"We wanted to make meat-free cooking simpler by offering a range of vegetarian meal mixes, that families can keep in their freezer for the upmost convenience."
In case you didn't know, there are other products in the Birds Eye Green Cuisine range - including meat-free Sausage Rolls, Meat Balls and Burgers.
Pastry fans will be pleased to hear that Birds Eye has also launched a new Meat Free Chicken Pie, containing pea protein, vegetables and gravy. These can be found in stores nationwide now.
