Birds Bakery is expanding its deliveries with Just Eat across Nottinghamshire. The bakery offers direct to door deliveries which now expand to more stores across the East Midlands.
In September Birds started by offering Just Eat deliveries from 11 Birds Bakery stores; it will now increase by nine more stores, due to popularity in the service over the last five weeks.
From October 31, five new stores across Nottinghamshire, three new stores across Derbyshire and one in Staffordshire, will begin offering the Just Eat delivery to customers.

The nine new bakeries, that join the previous 11, customers will be able to order their favourite baked goods are:
- Albert Street (Derby)
- Chilwell (Nottingham)
- Mapperley (Nottingham)
- Wollaton (Nottingham)
- Ilkeston (Derbyshire)
- Victoria Centre (Nottingham)
- Bakery Shop, Ascot Drive (Derby)
- Branston (Staffordshire)
- Teal Park (Nottingham)
Tim Bird has been project managing the new Just Eat partnership. Commenting on the increased rollout, he said: “The initial popularity of Just Eat deliveries has been outstanding.
"While we have many customers who love popping into store for a chat, we also know that there’s a whole new generation of customers who like to shop in a different way. It’s all about being able to offer choice and convenience to our shoppers.
“Our sweet classics have been incredibly popular on Just Eat, including Caramel Doughnuts, Cream Puffs, Orange Danishes and Cream Slices, as well as hot items like sausage and bacon cobs, roast pork rolls, steak slices and sausage rolls. There have also been lots of orders for freshly baked bread, with the Farmhouse Loaf, Multiseed Loaf and Dinner Rolls proving a real hit.”

With 63 stores across the region, the team at Birds Bakery will continue to assess the appetite for Just Eat deliveries over the coming months, with the potential to roll-out the service to more stores in the future.
