If you have binged on some South Korean dramas, you'd definitely know who Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are, but if you haven't, you ought to catch up with 'Crash Landing on You'. It's one of South Korea's most popular television series ever which stirred the internet as soon as it dropped online on a leading OTT platform.
The story about a successful businesswoman and chaebol heiress who falls in love with a North Korean army captain, despite the divide and dispute between their respective countries, made Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's household homes and now, their wedding pictures are setting the internet on fire.
Two pictures from the wedding ceremony made it to the internet. While first picture, which seemed like a picture from the pre-wedding festivities had Hyun Bin wearing a crisp white suit, and Son Ye Jin flaunting a lace tube wedding gown with a mesh detailing around her shoulders. The couple stood in front of a romantic arc of flowers, as they lovingly held hands.
The second picture and what seems like the wedding picture has Hyun Bin wearing a tuxedo - black trousers, crisp white shirt and off white blazer which he finished off with a black bow-tie and pocket square, while Son Ye-Jin stunned in the most beautiful white wedding gown with elaborate embroidery. She finished off the look with a stunning bouquet of flowers.
Their official agency, VAST Entertainment took to Instagram to share the pictures, along with the news of their wedding. The agency posted in Korean, which when translated into English reads, “Today, actress Son Ye-Jin and actor Hyun Bin will have a wedding and take their first steps as a couple. We ask for your understanding that the main ceremony will be held privately in consideration of the coronavirus situation, and we will inform you through the wedding photos of the two,” the agencies said.
They added, “We are deeply grateful for the many congratulations and warm support for the two of them on their new start. In the future, actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin and their agencies will always do their best to repay the love you send.”
As per a report from Taiwan’s Apple Daily via The Straits Times, the 39-year-old tied the knot with the 39-year-old actor on March 31, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea at Grand Walkerhill Seoul’s Aston House. The intimate wedding had around 200 guests.
