Police set up major cordon in Bingham town centre

Police have set up a cordon in a Nottinghamshire town centre. Three fire engines, six police vehicles and an ambulance were called to Bingham town centre on Thursday afternoon, June 16, according to an eyewitness.

Pictures from the scene show the emergency services around the centre of the town and a cordon in place close to the Butter Cross Wetherspoon pub. The nature of the incident is not yet known.

Traffic monitoring website Inrix suggests the incident is not having any impact on local traffic.
