In the first week of For The Win’s Bracket Madness, we asked voters to decide the best podcast of 2019. Hundreds of thousands of votes were cast to narrow the field from 32 down to the final two, and The Ringer’s Binge Mode emerged victorious in a tight championship matchup with Crime Junkie.
Binge Mode, hosted by Mallory Rubin and Jason Concepcion, debuted in 2017. Each of Binge Mode’s first 67 episodes were devoted to exploring individual episodes of HBO’s Game of Thrones series. Binge Mode recently concluded its deep-dive into the Harry Potter series, and is now gearing up for the final season of Game of Thrones.
Stuff You Should Know beat out Talk Is Jericho in the third-place matchup.
