The driver of a bin lorry which killed six people in Glasgow has refused to answer crucial questions about his history of fainting, heart problems and dizziness.
Harry Clarke, 58, has been accused of “putting himself first” after he refused to answer key questions at an inquiry at Glasgow sheriff court.
Mr Clarke’s medical history – and his alleged failure to disclose it to his employer – has become central to the inquiry after legal authorities in Scotland decided not to seek criminal charges against him.
In court he repeatedly refused to answer questions on his medical history.

Lawyers for the two of those killed last December said they are planning a private prosecution. The hearing, in its fifth week, has heard how Mr Clarke fainted at the wheel.
