Bin lorries and police have blocked off a supermarket car park in Rochdale ahead of a planned car meet nearby.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend the 2Rude2Cruise event at Elk Mill Shopping Park in Oldham on Sunday night.
But council bosses in Rochdale decided to block off Morrisons in Heywood as a precaution in case meet organisers changed the location last minute.

The area has also been taped off by police.

On the 2Rude2Cruise's Facebook page, organisers say they have secured permission to host the event at Elk Mill, which runs from 6.30-9.30pm.
They also urged motorists to drive with care, adding 'no idiots will be tolerated'.
A post on Sunday revealed Elk Mill as the location of the meet and warned those planning on going that police would also be in attendance.
It read: "Here is the location!

"Police will be about in marked and unmarked cars, so take it easy and just enjoy the cars.
"Just come in slowly and park up and enjoy the show.
"Police have a speed gun outside the location so just drive calm. Don't be a t**."
A spokesman for GMP said: "Officers are at that location in relation to a 2Rude2Cruise event. The council has blocked the car park off and police are aware."
Last October, residents in Heywood hit out at 2Rude2Cruise organisers following an event at Morrisons.

They claimed the town centre was turned into a 'Brands Hatch' , and that it caused major traffic chaos and disruption throughout the town.
According to them, cars were 'rallying' up and down streets and revving their engines on the way to the 'Big Monthly Mega Meet', while main roads into the town were gridlocked by the sheer volume of traffic.
But 2Rude2Cruise defended the event, claiming they were targeted by abuse from people unhappy about the meet - with one driver even having a hammer thrown through his car window.
