Bin bag filled with Nokia phones and book with names pulled from River Clyde

A bag full of phones and a book filled with names and numbers has been pulled from the River Clyde in Glasgow.

Footage posted by Glasgow Magnet Fishing captured the moment the group made the bizarre find at Dalmarnock Bridge.

The magnet fishers appeared to use a rope to pull the bag out of the water but were soon shocked at the contents.

Numerous Nokia phones and two touch screens were hidden in the depths of the Clyde in a black bin bag, alongside a notebook thought to be filled with names and numbers.

The group posted a video to their Tik Tok platform with dramatic music playing in the background as one member is filmed pulling the bag up.

Another clip shows the devices and book lying on the ground but the group later confirmed they discarded all of the contents and chucked it back into the Clyde.

Viewers were quick to comment on the video, which has been viewed nearly 60,000 times, making light on the situation.

One person said: "Tell me you've found a dealer without telling me you've found a dealer."

Another added: "Nokia still at 80%."

While one said: "I'm from Dalmarnock and I know a couple of people that will be freaking out at this video."
