Billy Price traded to the New York Giants

We’ve got another former Ohio State player on the move as NFL teams jostle personnel to make tough decisions to cull things down to the necessary 53-man roster to start the year.

The Cincinnati Bengals traded former Buckeye center Billy Price to the New York Giants according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. At Ohio State, Price won the Rimington Award as an All-American and was selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Bengals.

However, Price has never been able to find a consistent role with Cincinnati and it’s likely that the Bengals wanted to get something for the former first-rounder rather than leave him off the active roster and have him claimed off waivers, getting nothing in return.

In this case, the Bengals get defensive lineman B.J. Hill as a part of the deal.

Things are about to get crazy, and we’ll do our best to stay on top of all the roster cuts and moves over the next couple of days. For now, though, here’s to wishing Price luck in getting things together out in the Big Apple.
