Billy Price passes physical after reportedly battling plantar fasciitis, John Ross day-to-day

The Cincinanti Bengals got a dose of good and bad news after Thursday’s rest day ahead of Friday’s training camp practice.

For one, the team announced center Billy Price passed his physical and is officially back. James Palmer of NFL Network reported Price has been battling plantar fasciitis.

As for John Ross, head coach Zac Taylor still classifies him as “day to day,” according to Marisa Contipelli of Bengals.com.

The Ross news isn’t much of a surprise, as Taylor has been adamant he wants to bring the speedy receiver along slowly. Ideally, Ross would get back for some contact reps, especially with A.J. Green out.

Price is a bit more interesting. The reasoning for his season starting on the NFI was an unknown. Given the nature of plantar fasciitis, it will be interesting to see if it becomes a recurring problem. The Bengals would like to have him in there, though Trey Hopkins was serving as first-team center in the last practice.
