Five-time Grammy Award winner Billy Joel will make his debut concert appearance at Notre Dame Stadium on June 20, 2020, it was announced Thursday.
The legendary singer-songwriter has performed at the South Bend campus on two prior occasions, at the Joyce Center in 1984 and the Stepan Center in 1996.
Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 18 at livenation.com. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 14.
In 2018, Garth Brooks was the first performer to present a concert at the football stadium.
Closer to home, Joel has played Wrigley Field a record-setting seven times, the most recent show in 2018.
