Belfast boxer Caoimhin Agyarko is to help Billy Joe Saunders prepare for his massive showdown with Canelo Alvarez.
WBO super middleweight champ Saunders will take on pound-for-pound king Alvarez on May 8 at a venue in the United States.
Unbeaten Agyarko will fly out to Spain this weekend to spar with Saunders, with the former Holy Trinity amateur's boxing style viewed as being similar to Mexican superstar Canelo.
"I go out to Spain on Saturday and I can't wait," Agyarko told Belfast Live.
"It will be great experience for me sparring with someone like Billy Joe Saunders who is world class.
"Billy Joe had me in sparring the last time they were scheduled to fight, and I was invited in to spar Callum Smith for his fight against Canelo. And now I am back with Billy Joe for this fight.
"It is a massive compliment, and I must be doing something right."
Agyarko will use the experience as preparation for his own ring return, with the 23-year-old hoping to fight for a title in his next outing.
"I can't wait to get back into the ring myself. My last fight was last November, so hopefully I can get out soon enough," he added.
"I want to try and stay busy and maybe fight at least three times in 2021. We did schedule four but that might not happen.
"I have had eight fights so far and I believe I am improving with every fight. I am also starting to show my power with some stoppages.
"I just want to improve with every fight. My next fight should be a step up again, and hopefully it is for a title. It is always about progression and improving, and with every fight that's what I aim to do.
"I believe a better opponent will bring out the best in me. I will perform better against someone who's there to fight, rather than a journey man who just wants to survive."
