Billy Gilmour's mum 'bursting with pride' as she shares sweet tribute to son's Scotland performance

The mum of Scotland's man of the match Billy Gilmour has shared a sweet tribute to her son after his star performance at Wembley.

The 20-year-old, who also plays for Chelsea, impressed on the pitch in Scotland's EURO 2020 clash against England last night.

The young starlet received praise from the likes of Scottish tennis hero Andy Murray but it was his mum who couldn't contain her pride as she shared her delight online.

Carrie Gilmour took to Twitter sharing pictures of her golden boy, and said: "Absolutely delighted for you tonight. So so so proud of you. My heart is bursting with pride. Love you so much."
