Bills’ trickeration sees Dawson Knox to Josh Allen for 2-point conversion

Dawson Knox was a high school quarterback. Sean McDermott put the tight end’s arm to good use in the third quarter of the Buffalo Bills’ game with the Tennessee Titans on Monday.

After Josh Allen threw a TD pass to Tommy Sweeney — who? — the Bills’ QB immediately signaled they would go for two to increase the lead from 29-24 to seven points.

Josh Allen pitched to Isaiah McKenzie on what looked like reverse.

Fooled ya, Titans.

McKenzie flipped the ball to Knox, who found a wide-open Allen in the end zone for the 31-24 advantage.

Bills’ social media was apparently prepared for the trick play.

ESPN’s Lisa Salters reported Knox had actually injured his hand on a previous play and Allen wanted to wave off the trick play. However, Knox played on and then went to the locker room to be checked.
