Bills’ Stefon Diggs surprised a young fan whose father died with custom Nikes in emotional exchange

Most know Stefon Diggs as an incredible football player. He’s the Buffalo Bills’ No. 1 receiver and the perfect security blanket for Josh Allen. In fact, the special wideout is undoubtedly one of the bigger reasons the Bills are a bona fide top-tier Super Bowl 57 contender.

But it’s one of Diggs’ latest moves off the field — among the many — that shows he’s also a special person. Again.

A young Bills fan named Aydin (last name undisclosed) recently lost his father to a brain aneurysm in the summer. With his mother (@BillsMafiaGirl on Twitter) trying to lift her son’s spirits up in the aftermath of such an awful tragedy, she tried to connect with Diggs — Aydin’s favorite player — for some help.

Per a fantastic story from Hannah Buehler with WKBW News in Buffalo, the star receiver more than came through before the Bills took on the Miami Dolphins last Saturday night. How?

He gifted little Aydin some custom shoes with a powerful picture of his dad on them:

Oh man, that’s just incredible and such a sweet move on Diggs’ part. And I know for a fact no one is cutting onions right now.

Seriously, look at the little guy’s BEAMING smile with his awesome, touching gift!

Some things are so much bigger than football. Like your hero, an NFL superstar, coming through for you in a challenging, stressful time around the holidays.

NFL fans were incredibly touched by Diggs' custom shoes gesture for the young Bills fan
