Bills fan KOs a table in preparation for wild-card matchup with Patriots

It’s playoff time in Buffalo. The air is cold — like, really cold. Like, projected wind chill in the -10s at kickoff cold. But that doesn’t deter Bills fans. They call this tundra home, and ahead of Saturday night’s wild-card matchup against the AFC East rival New England Patriots, they were ready.

This is a fanbase starved for success. It wasn’t long ago that Buffalo’s 17-year playoff drought was the longest in football. But times are changing, and this franchise has now made the playoffs in four of the last five seasons.

And now, the stage is set for a matchup against the Bills’ biggest foe.

But that isn’t New England. The Patriots are merely collateral, a distraction from the true enemy of the city of Buffalo: portable folding tables. And ahead of the playoff opener, one Bills fan demonstrated a master class in how to take one out from above.

Just look at the airtime. The form. The beauty and grace. The heavy thud as he came down on the table like a wrestler pulling off a flashy aerial finisher. The way he casually sets his drink down before jumping with zero hesitation.

This is the gold standard, Bills fans. Take thorough notes.

Buffalo and New England split the regular-season series, with the Patriots taking a road matchup in a blizzard before the script was flipped in the second game in Foxborough. The forecast is setting up for another frigid one in the rubber match, but Bills Mafia is more than ready.
