North Dublin wrestling phenomena Becky Lynch is being backed to win not just more belts - but an OSCAR.
A mere three-minute cameo appearance on hit US TV show Billions followed by her sensational live WWE Raw announcement that she's pregnant has seen the bookies slash the Baldoyle star's odds of winning an Academy Award.
BoyleSports says more and more punters are putting their money on the pro wrestler turning her back on the ring to become a Hollywood star.
They had already trimmed the odds on the 33-year-old into 20/1 from 66/1 to win an Oscar by 2025, but since the news of her pregnancy and rumours of starring in a Marvel movie, the wrestler is now just 12/1.
And her odds are as short as 5/1 to ditch wrestling to become a full-time actress.
Lynch is well known in the WWE circuit but following her performance in the hit Showtime show bets starting fluttering in on the former Women's champ to make it in Hollywood.
In 2016, Becky became the first ever Smackdown Women's Champion, a title she went on to hold three times. After winning the Raw Women's Championship at last year's Wrestlemania, she never lost the belt and relinquished it as she announced her pregnancy.
But with a new baby on the way, a number of requests from punters were made for odds on the wrestler to leave the WWE and become an actress full-time.
Those chances are now at 5/1, cut from 10/1 but was initially 16/1.
Sarah Kinsella, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Since the announcement of her pregnancy, Irish wrestler Becky Lynch has seen her odds crumble to win an Oscar.
"Becky appears in an episode of Billions and now the Irish star is 12/1 from 20/1 to win an Oscar by 2025, but was backed all the way in from 66/1 earlier in the month."
