Earlier this week, the company announced the opening of the first Leon drive-thru restaurant on Wednesday, November 24, LeedsLive reports.

Located near Morley on the A650 Wakefield Road, close to the M62 and M621 junctions, it aims to provide an accessible and convenient option for people.

On the Breakfast menu, which is completely vegetarian, guests will find simple favourites such as the vegan Cumberland sausage muffin for £3.65 and egg & cheese muffin with a choice of Leon brown sauce or Leon ketchup priced at £2.75.

The new Leon drive-thru will be launching with a seasonal Christmas menu, a week ahead of the rest of the Leon estate.

Guests can try the blood orange and Cacao porridge (£3.25) for breakfast and the vegan sNOw Turk*y burger (£5.75) on the all-day menu.

Festive hot drinks include the marzipan Latte and cinnamon and salted caramel hot chocolate (both £3.45) alongside sweet treats such as the Leon mince pie and pistachio, white chocolate and ginger tiffin.

Other items on the menu include carbon neutral burgers, baked waffle fries, warm salads and grilled wraps, as well as breakfast and lunchtime meal deals.

The Gildersome drive-thru site will also host some of Leon's new deals including an exclusive collaboration with Karma Soda.

Leon has joined with the drinks firm to bring to market Karma Soda on draft, providing a clean, additive-free and ethical drink option.

Guests can enjoy lemony lemonade, gingerella ginger-ale, razza raspberry lemonade and the Karma Cola flavours (from £1.45).

Glenn Edwards, managing director said: “This is a significant milestone for Leon. We are excited to be opening our first ever drive-thru restaurant in West Yorkshire, expanding our Leon family where we already have such a loyal fanbase.

"The new drive-thru will be joining our restaurants in Leeds train station, Leeds Delivery Kitchen and Leeds Skelton Lake Motorway services offering Yorkshire even more opportunity to try Naturally Fast Food whilst creating 30 new jobs for talented local people."
