Billie Shepherd sobs 'I don’t know if I can do this' after agonising Dancing On Ice fall

Dancing On Ice star Billie Shepherd broke down in tears after a nasty fall in rehearsals, and she admitted she wasn't sure if she could carry on.

Billie, who is paired with Mark Hanretty, fell on her bottom and burst into tears as the pain must have been agonising.

She admitted: "There have definitely been times where I’ve thought, I don’t know if I can do this."

Wiping her tears away standing to next to Mark, Billie steadied herself and said: "Just take a deep breath.

"I think it was a shock to the system, maybe it has frightened me more than I think."

Despite the mishaps in training, Billie's performance to Spice Up Your Life went smoothly and she was scored 6.5 by Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman scored her 6.5, Jayne Torvill 6, and Chris Dean gave 6 too.

This gave Billie an overall score of 25, and she gushed: "I am so relieved it's done! I was so nervous."

"You did well!" Mark assured her.

Host Phillip Schofield asked Mark how he calmed Billie down, and he replied: "I have tried so many coping tactics, and at one point I said, you've had two children, you've had two babies, it can't be as bad as that.

"And she said, 'I think I would rather have another labour!' But she did brilliantly."

John exclaimed: "Billie and Mark, you spiced up the rink! I absolutely loved it, and I love this outfit, it's absolutely gorgeous.

"The nerves, you're done, get the nerves out of the way, your first skate is over, you look amazing when you skate, you've got all the moves, now let's get the confidence there and those skills, and you may just rise to the top."
