Billie Faiers' mum reveals bride's 'hair fell out' ahead of Maldives wedding as the newlyweds share MORE snaps from lavish honeymoon

Billie Faiers’ mother has revealed that “stress” caused the reality star’s hair to fall out in the run up to her Maldives wedding to Greg Shepherd.

In a clip from a forthcoming episode of the family’s ITVBe series The Mummy Diaries, Faiers’ mother Sue Wells told her younger daughter Sam Faiers that the pressures of planning the lavish celebrations had taken a physical toll.

“Do you know what, to be fair, she’s been really stressed out,” Wells told Sam.

“I think she’s got so much going on. You know what it’s like when you’re trying to work, keep a home, bring up a family and she’s not been sleeping.

“She’s been having flare ups with her skin and her hair’s been falling out in the shower… she’s been crying an awful lot.”

Wells’ comments were revealed as the newly-weds continued to share photos and videos from their enviable Maldives honeymoon on Instagram.

Billie, who has now changed her name to Shepherd in her social media handles, appeared to have fully recharged after the stresses of wedding planning as she posted footage of the couple enjoying a boat ride together.

She went on to share videos of her and her husband enjoying a meal while they watched a film, and later gave fans a tour of their luxurious beachfront accommodation.

Earlier this week, the couple were forced to shut down claims that their wedding celebrations had been “yobbish” and disruptive for other guests on the island of Kuramathi in the Maldives.

“The hotel manager hasn’t had any complaints about our party,” she told OK!

“I was half expecting some loudness as there are 95 of us out here celebrating [but] we have always been very respectful of the island and the other guests holidaying here.”

The Mummy Diaries is on ITVBe, Wednesday at 9pm
