Billie Faiers joins the Dancing on Ice 2021 line-up

Billie Faiers is the latest celebrity to join the line-up for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice.

The Mummy Diaries star, 30, shared the news on Instagram, posting an image of a pair of immaculate ice skates.

"I am soooo excited to announce that I will be taking part in @dancingonice," she wrote.

"I still can’t believe I am actually doing it !! I am soooo nervous but so excited ... This will honestly be one of my biggest challenges yet!!”

She added that although she has “zero ice skating or dance experience,” she is “going to give it [her] all” and hopefully make her young children Nelly, six, and Arthur, three, “proud.”

Faiers first found fame on The Only Way Is Essex, but left the reality show in 2016.

She and younger sister Sam, 29, now appear in the ITVBe series The Mummy Diaries, which follows the siblings and their respective husbands, Greg Shepherd and Paul Knightley, as they bring up their young children.

Last year, an extended special episode focused on Faiers and Shepherd’s lavish wedding at a luxurious resort in the Maldives.

Faiers will join the likes of Myleene Klass, Denise Van Outen, Jason Donovan and Rebekah Vardy on the ice next year. The series, which is filmed in a purpose-built ice rink at Bovingdon airfield, will be presented by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

This year’s contest saw actor Joe Swash crowned the winner, beating Diversity’s Perri Kiely.

Dancing on Ice will air on ITV early next year.
