Billie Faiers furious after stranger smacks her son, 3, on a flight

Billie Faiers said she was furious after a stranger smacked her son on a flight.

The 32-year-old said she saw 'red mist' when the female passenger hit her three-year-old son Arthur on the arm. Speaking on her podcast with sister Sam, Billie explained how Arthur had been having a tantrum on the plane as the family returned from Dubai.

The former Towie star had tried to soothe Arthur, but he kicked the back of the seat in front of him.

Billie told Sam: "We were on the way back from Dubai and there was a family that was sat in front of us and Arthur was kicking off a bit, as they do sometimes.

"Don’t get me wrong, this is really annoying. He was on my lap and I was trying to say “calm down” and there was a woman sat in front, a bit older, and he kicked the back of her seat. I was like “oh God, so sorry”. Then he was having a bit of a tantrum, crying, she turned around and she smacked him. I swear to God."

Furious at the woman's actions, Billie said: "I went “Excuse me!” I stood up… you know when you have the red mist and you’re shaking. She smacked him on his arm. I think she was German or something, when I mean I kicked off, I was going mental."

Billie said her son wasn't hurt by the physical contact, but she was still furious about the incident.

She said: "She didn't hurt him but she smacked him and I was in shock, I was furious. An air hostess came up I said 'everything is not alright she smacked my child.'

"I was shouting. She put a blanket over her head she was so embarrassed. You could tell her kids were really embarrassed."
