Billie Eilish x Bershka collection demonstrates star's bold sense of style

Bershka has revealed its collaboration with teenage singing sensation Billie Eilish, who this week received the MTV VMAs award for Best New Artist.

The range of clothing, the retailer states, contains a myriad of "contrasts", "combining black and white with acid brights, and darkness with disruption".

As the trajectory of her music career has continued to rise, Eilish's personal sense of style has become globally recognisable, due to the 17-year-old's proclivity for bold colour schemes and baggy fits.

"Each look is characterised by extreme volumes, unisex styles and a powerful colour vibe – total white, black, green or orange," Bershka states.

Launched today, the range of clothing is available to purchase from Bershka stores and from the retailer's website.

Some items in the unisex collection of clothing in size from S to L, while others range from XS to XL.

The collection also includes a smartphone case suitable for the iPhone 6, 7 and 8 for £12.99, and a tote bag for the same price.

The tote bag and one of the T-shirts in the collection features the title of Eilish's debut studio album: When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Earlier this month, the musician spoke out against the rhetoric that is frequently used in discussions about the baggy clothes she wears.

In an interview with singer Pharrell Williams for V magazine, Eilish said: "The positive comments about how I dress have this slut-shaming element.

"Like, 'I am so glad that you're dressing like a boy, so other girls can dress like boys, so that they aren't sluts'."

Eilish added that she "can't overstate" the extent to which she does not appreciate the sexist undertones of the comments she receives.
