Billie Eilish has been caught up in a new controversy involving her rumoured boyfriend Matthew Vorce after a number of his past tweets have resurfaced on social media.
The 29-year-old actor has been slammed by Billie’s die-hard fanbase after his tweets from a number of years ago saw him use slurs against Asian, Black and LGBTQ+ people, as well as women.
The authenticity of the Tweets and Facebook comments has not yet been verified, however, the historic tweets have gone viral after the rumoured lovebirds were recently spotted out together on a date.
Screenshots of the alleged tweets have surfaced on social media and they see the actor being accused of using the ‘N’ word while also referring to homosexual men as ‘f**s’.
In another tweet from 2012, Matthew seemingly appears to make a savage swipe at singing sensation Adele as he refers to her as a ‘British Miss Piggy’.
Billie, 19, has yet to address the controversy, while her rumoured beau has also stayed silent amid the drama.
However, the Bad Guy hit-maker has appeared to defend Matthew by liking a post from a fan which claims the tweets were fake and fabricated by someone else.
Billie liked the post from the frustrated fan which read: “This fandom is so embarrassing sometimes like why would you go in someone’s comments and say something that you literally don’t even know is true and something y’all LITERALLY MADE UP.
“Sometimes y’all so dumb. Some of you need to learn how to mind your business.”
It comes after superstar Billie has been spotted hanging out with Matthew several times in recent months, as the pair appear to have enjoyed a string of romantic dates.
The rumoured couple were most recently pictured together at Disneyland after first being spotted looking cosy together in April.
Actor and writer Matthew has appeared in TV movie Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? alongside James Franco as well as Little Monsters and Return Home.
Billie’s fans are now speculating that Matthew is the ‘secret boyfriend’ she mentioned in her 2021 Apple TV+ documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.
It’s not known how the pair initially met, but both stars are from and based in Los Angeles.
