Billie and Sam Faiers slam holidaymakers who complained about wedding 'carnage'

Billie Faiers and her sister Sam Faiers have slammed the holidaymakers who complained that their wedding guests caused 'carnage' in the Maldives.

Billie wed her husband Greg Shepherd in March surrounded by 95 of their closest friends and family - but resort guests complained that the Essex group acted like "yobbos" and made them feel like "second-class citizens".

In last night's Sam & Billie's Mummy Diaries: The Wedding Special, the ex-TOWIE sisters hit back at the claims and insisted the non-wedding guests got it wrong.

"The information they were being fed was so wrong," Billie said on the show.

"Of course we're out here as a group of 100. People knew we were out here for our wedding."

Sam backed her up, saying: "No-one came up to us and said keep it down. Every time we did a big thing together it was private. The island organised it specifically so we didn't disturb the holidaymakers.

"If the area is cornered off and you don't want to be part of that, the island is huge," she added.

Billie even accused the complainers of wanting to sell stories to the media, telling Mail Online: "It wasn't even a group of guests as far as we know.

"One guest in particular shouted it across the beach one day, 'This will all be in the press tomorrow'. He was clearly trying to sell stories on us across the holiday."

She added: "It was so ridiculous because our events were private, the island was huge. We were just having fun. It’s a shame people were trying to tarnish the wedding."

During the show, viewers watched as groom Greg, joined by a a group of his best mates and male relatives, got rowdy on a boat for his last-minute stag do.

The loud lads shook up beer cans and sprayed Greg with booze, before Sam and Billie's stepdad Dave Chapman pulled down his swimming trunks and flashed his privates.

Egged on by the other stags, Greg tried to tear the trunks off his stepfather-in-law's legs.

"We call it cacking but it's actually just going up behind your mate when they're talking to someone and pulling their shorts down. It's really stupid, really childish but it makes us laugh and we'll probably do it until the day we die," he joked on camera.

Back on dry land, Billie has no regrets about the way her nuptials went down.

"I thought this is the most amazing beautiful wedding, we're all having fun, not one person was being rude or outrageous to other guests," she told the Mail.

"They were trying to make out we were all really badly behaved and we weren't."
