The first trailer has been released for Bill & Ted Face the Music, the long-awaited Bill & Ted sequel starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.
The clip, unveiled on Tuesday, features both actors in their respective roles as Ted and Bill, now middle-aged and tasked with writing a song that will unite the world.
Desperate, they resolve to travel to the future to steal the completed tune from themselves.
In addition to Reeves and Winter, the trailer features a glimpse of William Sadler returning as the Grim Reaper.
Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving are also seen, respectively, as Ted and Bill’s daughters.
Bill & Ted Face the Music will be released on 21 August 2020 in the US and in the UK.
It's the third instalment in the Bill & Ted franchise, which began in 1989 with Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
A sequel, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, followed in 1991.
