Bill Murray leaves Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy laughing in Scotland

Bill Murray had both Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy in stitches in Scotland.

The popular comedian is a well known avid golf fan and was at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

And Murray bumped into McIlroy and Harrington who were both at the event.

The American went over to the pair and had them laughing while Harrington took to social media to hail his meeting with Murray.

The Dubliner posted: "I'm thinking it would be a good idea to hire Bill Murray as my personal valet going forward. @dpworldtour @dunhilllinks"

McIlroy finished the highest of the Irish in a tie for fourth as he attempted to chase down the leaders.

Harrington himself finished in a tie for 17th as he continues his good form.
