Even though LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers aren’t in the playoffs, that isn’t enough to stop basketball-loving folks the world over from picking up the endless GOAT Debate about he and Michael Jordan.
One of Jordan’s toughest foes weighed in once again and his answer may be a surprise. Detroit Pistons enforcer and legend Bill Laimbeer went on Fox Sports podcast ‘The Odd Couple’ with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker. The legendary Piston said that he would take LeBron over Jordan “every day of the week.”

LeBron being better than Jordan isn’t an uncommon sentiment, but it’s definitely one that’s gotten quieter this season after LeBron’s disappointing first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, Laimbeer also went through several battles against Jordan and won, something he never had the chance to do against LeBron.
But whatever the reasons behind Laimbeer’s statement, you can’t count him as one of the bitter NBA vets who bemoan what the game has become.
