Bill Deedes celebrates 75 years in journalism

At the age of 93, the Daily Telegraph's remarkable Bill Deedes is this week celebrating 75 years in journalism. His career began on the Morning Post in 1929. He went on to become a Conservative minister, briefly putting up his pen, but returned to edit the Daily Telegraph in 1975 until 1986. Since then Lord Deedes, as he became, has been a columnist and feature writer. He is also one of nature's genuinely nice guys. (Via telegraph.co.uk)
