In a sense, no one should ever be surprised about a football coach yelling at a football player. It happens a lot.
But when that football player is a six-time Super Bowl winner with that coach, you’d think that maybe — just maybe — the little mistakes in training camp wouldn’t be a huge deal.
Don’t tell that to Bill Belichick.
Video hit Twitter on Sunday showing Tom Brady running the offense in seven-on-seven drills at training camp. Brady was not supposed to call any run plays here, but the future Hall of Famer called one anyway. Let’s just say that Belichick was not pleased. (Warning: The video contains NSFW language).
Yeah, that was Belichick directing some choice words at Brady. Though we couldn’t really hear what Brady said back, he did respond and continue the exchange.
This probably won’t be the last time Brady disobeys Belichick either at camp. After spending nearly two decades with Belichick, Brady is going to have some fun here and there.
