Bill Belichick shot Kyle Van Noy in the face with a paintball gun

Bill Belichick believes in equal treatment for all his players. He’s ruthless with them on the field, whether they are a undrafted rookie or a 20-year veteran. Apparently, he’s equally ruthless while playing paintball.

The New England Patriots coach lit up veteran linebacker Kyle Van Noy in the face during a bonding outing on Monday. The team cancelled their final two organized team activities on Monday and Tuesday — in part to go paint balling, an activity which Belichick seems to be sneakily good at.

NBC Sports Boston caught the moment while watching a Twitch stream:

“I got hit, I’m telling you,” Van Noy told teammate Dont’a Hightower during their Twitch stream on Tuesday. “This paintball hit me in the mask, and the mask hit my tooth and my s— still hurts.”

Hightower pressed Van Noy to tell the viewers who shot him with the paintball, and he made a hilarious admission.

“Bill got my ass,” he said.

Unfortunately, there’s no footage of Belichick in action.
