One of the biggest mysteries in NFL history is regarding the relationship of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Is there tension, how much tension and is it the reason Brady left the New England Patriots?
ESPN’s Seth Wickersham had a groundbreaking piece about the power struggles in New England and it only makes sense because of the status Robert Kraft, Brady and Belichick had. Whether or not that drove Brady out of New England and to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the world may never know.
A fan commented on Belichick’s girlfriend, Linda Holliday’s Instagram post recently and said, “too bad Bill let Tom go.” Her post was just reflecting on the year and was unrelated, but she had a fiery response.
“And you have all the answers evidently?” Holliday said. “Tom didn’t score last night … not once! Defense won that game. Were you even watching? [On the other hand] – I’m happy for Tom’s career! Why can’t you be?”
The problem is — Brady scored two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in the 30-20 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Holliday later corrected herself and moved on from the conversation.

This doesn’t give any answers regarding tension, but it certainly doesn’t help in simmering down the speculation.
