Bill Belichick revealed why thought Tom Brady was special in his rookie year, despite not playing

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have had quite an amazing run together, winning six Super Bowls and staking their claims as the best QB to ever play the game and the best coach in NFL history.

Brady, as we all know, wasn’t picked until the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He then only appeared in one game during his rookie season and didn’t make his first start until the next year when Drew Bledsoe got injured.

The rest, of course, is history.

But on Friday night during the airing of the NFL Network’s “NFL Top 100” show, in which the top 10 QBs were named, Belichick explained how Brady did something special every day in practice that led the coach to think the QB could be special once he got on the field:

Brady and Belichick also had fun during the segment talking about their working relationship over the years and breaking down some key moments from their run:

Now that is some great stuff between two legends who have seen it all together over the years.
