Bill Belichick reacts to the Patriots taking the lead in the AFC East

The New England Patriots landed in the top spot in the AFC East on Sunday after the Buffalo Bills lost to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11.

New England pummelled the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night, which meant the Patriots players could watch while the shuffle took place in the AFC East. Receiver Kendrick Bourne, for example, had quite the reaction to the Bills’ loss. But Bill Belichick wouldn’t address it, at least not publicly.

Belichick was asked for his thoughts on the team’s move into the top spot in the AFC East during an appearance on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show.”

“No, I don’t really think about that,” Belichick said Monday. “We’ll just take it one day at a time here and get ready for Tennessee.”
