Bill Belichick lost it on the refs after a terrible call that he wasn’t allowed to challenge

The New England Patriots’ defense has been playing pretty darn good tonight against the Kansas Chiefs and midway through the second quarter they appeared to force their second turnover… until the refs jumped in and made a really bad call.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick then lost it on the refs as the Chiefs punted the ball away.

Fans wondered why Belichick didn’t challenge the play but the refs ruled that Patrick Mahomes was in the grasp, which is not reviewable. CBS’ Tracy Wolfson confirmed after halftime that Belichick told her he couldn’t challenge the play because it was a sack.

Seems like that rule should be changed because that was a really bad call by the refs.
