Bill Belichick doesn’t get much more exuberant than he did on Wednesday night.
The New England Patriots coach, famous for his deadpan disposition, acted as the Boston Bruins’ fan banner captain during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. With a smile, Belichick waved the Bruins banner in the moments before the game to pump up Boston sports fans.
Belichick got the stadium bumping with noise and excitement. But it didn’t quite pan out like Belichick and the Bruins fans were hoping. Boston fell to the St. Louis Blues, 3-2, in overtime, which tied the series at 1-1.
