Bill Belichick crashes NFL Network broadcast at combine to make donation to charity

Bill Belichick is making a habit of jumping onto the NFL Network broadcast during the NFL combine. However, the New England Patriots coach made a much briefer appearance in 2019 than his previous cameo, when he waxed poetic about the successes of Mike Mayock, who left TV to take the Oakland Raiders job as a general manager.

This year, Belichick hopped onto the broadcast to make a donation to the “Run Rich Run” fundraiser, which benefitted the children of St. Jude Hospital.

“Thank you so much,” Rich Eisen, an NFL Network analyst and founder of the fundraiser, told Belichick during the broadcast. “You’re a good man.”

When Belichick had left, Eisen added: “Once again, Bill Belichick just came by and dropped a check to Run Rich Run. That is just as wonderful as it gets. It is extremely generous as it was last year.”
