Bill Belichick crashed NFL combine broadcast with a surprise check for St. Jude’s

NFL Network’s Rich Eisen runs the 40-yard dash at the end of every NFL combine to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Last year, Eisen was caught off guard (in a good way!) when Patriots head coach Bill Belichick interrupted the NFL Network broadcast to drop off a check for a “generous” donation to St. Jude’s.

Well, Belichick has done it again.

During Sunday’s broadcast, the Patriots head coach dropped by the booth to hand Eisen another check to St. Jude’s. Eisen was so appreciative that he had to step away to personally thank Belichick with his headset off. Eisen shared video of the exchange on Twitter.

“Thank you so much. You’re a good man,” we could hear Eisen say to Belichick before briefly removing his headset.

Last year, Belichick had great things to say about Eisen and Mike Mayock’s combine coverage, via ESPN:

“I just want to say, on behalf of all the football fans out there, you guys do a tremendous job. This is a tremendous production. Mike, I know how hard it is to do a draft board for one team. It’s hard. You’re doing it for 32 teams, as well as knowing what all the teams are looking for, and who their players are, and putting it all together for us. You guys do an awesome, awesome job. I can’t tell you how much information you put out there to the fans, and I’d say the league. Put me in that category too.”
