Bill Belichick broke down final play in loss to Dolphins in most Bill Belichick way possible

Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots lost a stunner to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday that proved to be costly as they lost out on the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and will not have a bye week in the postseason for the first time since 2009.

The Patriots gave up the game-winning touchdown with under 30 seconds remaining in the game. Tom Brady and the offense then couldn’t get anything going and closed the game on one of those plays where you try to lateral it a lot before getting tackled miles away from the end zone.

That’s what happened to the Patriots, as they fell to 12-4 after entering the game as 16.5-point favorites.

Belichick was asked about the final play during postgame press conference and his answer was classic Belichick. The “What’s that again?” is just next level stuff in making things awkward:
