The Vikings have plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball with guys like Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook.
Bill Barnwell of ESPN ranked his top offensive arsenals and let me tell you, he is pretty optimistic about the Vikings heading into 2019.
He ranked them fifth on the list.
That’s really not a surprise. The top-end talent on this offense is super impressive, and that’s not even mentioning tight ends Kyle Rudolph and rookie Irv Smith Jr.
Smith Jr. should be another dynamic playmaker for this Vikings offense.
The biggest question, however, is the offensive line. The Vikings invested in the offensive line this offseason, signing Josh Kline and drafting Garrett Bradbury in the first round. But the offense still hinges on that group.
Without time in the pocket, Cousins can’t hit his talented receivers. Without solid blocking, Cook can’t hit the hole like he should.
It’ll be interesting to see what this group looks like in 2019.
